One day a sleepy coffee drinker ordered a cheap coffee near the supermarket.
After all, it was nearby and they’re open.
As he observed them prepare it – he noticed that they pumped two kinds of milk (condensed? evap?) into the coffee.
He just watched them and said nothing.
He tasted it.
It tasted great.
He was a sweet tooth after all.
Not much of a coffee snob like many.
From then on, he always uses a pump of condensed milk in his coffee.
Yes, he stopped using sugar.
Fast forward to recent times.
He noticed that his favorite brand of milk is at P 70.
Last year it was at P 65.
Hmm. Price increase.
However now that commuting is more expensive…
He’s looking at that P 70 / condensed milk.
One time, he tried the cheaper brand – the one at the bottom of the supermarket rows.
They didn’t flow well.
Then one day, he found a new brand.
It was only P 32 and the same volume ml as his favorite.
This was less than half price!
..for the same amount.
It was great.
It tasted and flowed like his P 70 brand.
So he switched.
One day he’s out resupplying.
It’s gone!
Weeks go by – this cheaper brand has disappered.
It was sad for him – that he went back to sugar.
Until he decided to type the brand name in to the internet.
Yes!
He has forgotten the internet.
And there it was – it was in Shopee and Lazada.
It wasn’t P 32. It was P 40.
Still less than P 70.
So he ordered 10 of it.
P 400 pesos!
Then months later – he still hasn’t reordered.
What’s the lesson here?
