You donate clothes or throw away stuff you don’t use anymore….

COMPUTER CLEANUP
For example, inside my computer, I remove files from the following folders:
\downloads
\documents
And move them – to monthly files to an external hard drive.
That way I’ll have more space for 2026.
Do you do this?
In the world of blessings…
The same thing applies.
A whole lot of people “throw away blessings” w/o noticing it.
Now in tagalog, this means they’re throwing away “grasya” or graces that God has given them.
SO YOUNG
Quick example – you’re given perfect health. You’re young! So you don’t sleep well, party or computer or gaming all night – everyday. After all, your body can recover quickly.
You’d be constantly throwing away that grace.
Like a signal to “Go away health!, I don’t need you.”
And there’s the neglect.
DIVINE DRIVER?
As a student, I would notice that some jeepney drivers would make the sign of the cross when they’re passing by a Catholic Church.
Mind you- they were doing it obvious – and nobody else was doing it. I didn’t get it. The other passengers didn’t get it also.
The jeepney driver was “getting grace” by showing respect to the Catholic Church.
In fact, it echoes what St Francis of Assisi told his order to do “Pray this short prayer when you pass by any Catholic Church…because Jesus’ body is in there.”
“We adore you, O Lord Jesus Christ, in this church and all the churches of the world, and we bless you, because by your holy Cross you have redeemed the world.’ Amen”
(Later this became part of the “Way of the Cross.”)
POINT!
What is my point?
This may be a strange concept to most of you.
Recently, this idea has crossed my mind:
“I want those graces that people throw away or neglect.”
If people dont’ want the graces of confession, I’ll get them.
If they don’t want the graces from the Mass, I’ll get them.
If they don’t want prayers from people freed from Purgatory, I want them.
If they don’t want the graces from scapulars, holy things, specific prayers – I’ll get them.
“Grace Hoarder” comes to mind.
But it get stranger.
NOT A BANK
You see, in Catholic world, the graces don’t work like a bank account. I don’t get “merits” by getting more graces. I don’t get healthier by getting more graces.
I fact, I bring the graces I got to the one who gives away Graces to others. To OTHERS.
Do you know WHO that is?
Hint: you’re going to say “Jesus”. That’s okay – but not the correct answer. We have “roles”. Reply if you want the answer.
I hope this message makes you think about grace.
And how you may not be getting enough.
Maybe you want more.
And what must you do to “get more graces.”
