Without Front Deposit Information (FDI) Mobile deposit failed.

  • Jomar Hilario Jomar Hilario

Lily clutched the colorful birthday cheque from her Lola. Excited, she and her mom opened the bank’s mobile banking app. "Just picture the front and back for mobile check deposit," Mom instructed.

Lily carefully photographed both sides and tapped "Deposit." The app whirred, then a red message appeared via SMS from the bank: "Mobile deposit being verified."

A moment later, Mom’s phone pinged. It was an email from the bank: "Your recent mobile cheque deposit attempt was unsuccessful due to missing Front Deposit Information (FDI).Please refer to https://www.rcbc.com/check-deposit-advisory for details on the required FDI for RCBC mobile check deposit after April 1, 2025."

Just then, Lily’s tablet buzzed with an SMS: "RCBC: Your mobile deposit failed. Ensure correct FDI is included on the front of the cheque as per https://www.rcbc.com/check-deposit-advisory to avoid deposit error."

Mom read the email and the text. "See, Lily? The bank is telling us that because it’s after April 1, 2025, we need to write specific things on the front of the cheque for RCBC mobile check deposit to work."

Lily frowned. "Why?"

"It’s a new FDI requirement," Mom explained, pointing to the website on her phone. "For depositing check using mobile app, especially with RCBC, they need extra information on the front to make sure the money goes to your account correctly."

Following the instructions, Mom carefully wrote "RCBC BANK" and Lily’s account number on the front of the cheque, being careful not to cover any important details.

On the back, they wrote "RCBC BANK," "Online/Mobile Check Deposit," Lily’s name, her account number again, and today’s date, April 11, 2025. Lily signed her name.

Lily took new, clear pictures of the front, making sure the FDI was visible, and the back. She tapped "Deposit."

This time, the SMS and Email said "Mobile cheque deposit successful!"

Lily smiled. The FDI error was resolved because they followed the bank’s instructions, which they learned about through the failed mobile deposit notification in the app, the email, and the SMS. She now understood that banks sometimes have new rules for mobile check deposits, and it’s important to include the deposit information on the front of the cheque for successful mobile banking app use.

Cavite Jubilee 2025 Churches

The Jubilee Year 2025 is a time to celebrate God’s mercy and renew our faith. One important way to do this is by visiting Jubilee churches and doing acts of penance, almsgiving and prayer.

In Cavite, the Diocese of Imus has many churches where we can do Jubilee activities. These are not just buildings. These are holy places where we can meet God, go to confession, and pray for peace and healing.

Start your pilgrimage at the Cathedral and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Pillar in Imus. This is the heart of the Diocese. Go to Mass, say the Rosary, and offer prayers for your family.

Next, visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Silang. There, reflect on the message of Our Lady: repentance, prayer, and love for God. It’s a peaceful place to listen to God in silence.

Go to Santa Cruz Parish in Tanza, where St. Augustine is honored. Confess your sins, pray before the Blessed Sacrament, and ask for wisdom like St. Augustine.

In Naic, the Parish of the Immaculate Conception invites you to honor Mary. Light a candle. Pray for purity and grace in your daily life.

At San Roque Parish in Cavite City, visit the image of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad de Porta Vaga. She is the Queen of Cavite. Many miracles have happened here. Ask for help and healing.

Don’t forget the Our Lady of Candelaria Parish in Silang. Bring your children. Pray as a family. Ask Mary to guide you as the light of your home.

Go to Kawit, to the Parish of St. Mary Magdalene, one of the oldest in the country. Ask for a clean heart and the courage to follow Jesus like Mary Magdalene.

In Maragondon, visit Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Spend quiet time. Think of heaven and thank God for every blessing.

You can also stop by St. Gregory the Great Parish in Indang. Serve the poor. Share your blessings. Help a neighbor.

At St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Bacoor, pray to the Archangel for protection and strength in your faith journey.

Pray the Rosary at Most Holy Rosary Parish in Rosario. Reflect on the mysteries of Jesus. Offer every joy and sorrow to Him.

Lastly, visit St. Joseph Parish in Carmona. He is the patron of workers and families. Ask him to bless your work and your home.

What to Do in Each Church:

  • Go to Mass and Confession
  • Pray before the Blessed Sacrament
  • Do the Rosary and Stations of the Cross
  • Offer prayers for the Pope’s intentions
  • Do acts of mercy (help the poor, forgive someone, give food)

Jubilee 2025 is not just a trip. It is a journey of the heart. When you visit these churches in Cavite, open your heart. Let God love you. And share that love with others.
